Orion Portfolio Services, LLC is an asset management company that
specializes in the purchase, management and collection of performing and
non-performing consumer and commercial receivables. These performing and
non-performing consumer receivables have either been charged-off by the
credit issuers or for other reasons are not considered to be core assets
or prime receivables.
Orion was founded by
Anurag Sett. Anurag has 20 years of broad based consumer credit
experience in valuation, credit, collections and risk management at
Citicorp, Wells Fargo, Household International, Outsourcing Solutions
Inc. and Orion. Anurag was President of OSI’s
Portfolio Purchasing until June 2004. He has purchased over $11 billion
in face value from companies in healthcare, financial services, consumer
loan, telecom, utility, auto and other sectors.
Anurag has presented
extensively and led panel discussions at national and international
conferences in the area of Debt Acquisition and Management, Deal
Structuring, Valuation Techniques and Servicing and Administration in the
Securitization Market. Anurag is a member of the Experian
Collections Council Advisory Board. He holds an undergraduate degree in
Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Michigan
in Ann Arbor.
